Pine oil is a disinfectant and is mildly antiseptic.  It is effective against many household germs and bacteria.

It is known to have anti-inflammatory on skin conditions such as acne, eczema and rosacea.  It can also relieve pain from arthritis and mild muscle pain.

Pine Essential oil is a derivative of pine tree needles, which are characterized by their strong aroma.  It has been used for aromatherapy, as a scent in bath oils and more commonly in cleaning products. 

It may also be used as a disinfectant, sanitizer, microbicide, virucide or insecticide.
